鳥飼畜産の鳥取和牛が欧州市場に初進出し、輸出国としてチェコへ初出荷
2023年5月20日（土曜日）に弊社の特約生産者の鳥飼畜産（代表：鳥飼雄太郎）の鳥取和牛がチェコ共和国へ向けて輸出されます。鳥取和牛が欧州の輸出国へ出荷されるのは今回が初めてとなります。
昨年の2022年にAmaso社の一行がチェコ共和国より来日、鳥飼畜産を農場見学、やまのおかげ屋ハワイ店へ来店しました(その際の記事はこちら>>)。
読売新聞に取材していただいた英語版の記事(こちら>>)を読んだことが来日のきっかけとなりましたが、実際に鳥飼畜産を見学し、小規模ながらも繁殖•肥育に対する姿勢や牛に対する手厚く、愛情のある環境に強く感銘を受け、先方からの熱心な提案を受け、今回の取引につながりました。
輸出される鳥飼畜産の鳥取和牛は第１１回全国和牛能力共進会出品牛で肉質日本一となった「白鵬８５の３」の血統を引き継ぐ26ヶ月の去勢牛です。枝肉重量は561.2kg、格付けはA5ランク(最高ランク)、BMS10(上位ランク)という非常に良い状態となりました。
今回の輸出は、継続的な取引に繋がる予定で、欧州市場への鳥取和牛の普及に貢献するものと期待されます。また、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大により国内外で消費が落ち込んでいる中で、生産者や関係者の収入確保にもつながると考えられます。
この度は、鳥飼畜産、そしてEATOPIA (所在地：神戸市)と共同のもと鳥取和牛の欧米市場への初輸出が実現しました。株式会社やまのおかげ屋は今後とも鳥取和牛の認知拡大と海外市場の開拓に努めてまいります。

鳥飼畜産は、鳥取県倉吉市関金町に所在しています。一般的に難しいとされる繁殖・肥育を行う一貫生産を採用しています。また、年間約200頭しか認定されない「鳥取和牛オレイン55」の認定基準を満たす牛を多数出荷しており(出荷数の約７割がオレイン５５認定)、県内外で高い評価を得ています。

鳥取県は実は古くから和牛の産地として知られており、1966年に開催された第１回全国和牛能力共進会の肉牛区（産肉能力検定）で一等賞の栄誉に輝いたのが鳥取県の種雄牛「気高（けたか）」号です。「気高」号の優れた血統を受け継ぐ子孫が全国に広がり、各地のブランド牛の始祖として名を残しています。
また、鳥取県が推し進める「オレイン５５」というブランドは「気高」の血統であること、オレイン酸を５５％以上含む、瑕疵がない、など一定の条件を満たした牛肉に与えられます。

First Export of Tottori Wagyu Beef to the Czech Republic (EU)
We are pleased to announce that on Friday, May 19, 2023, Tottori Wagyu beef from our contracted producer the Torikai Farm (Representative: Yutaro Torikai) will be exported to the Czech Republic.
The export is carried out based on a contract with Amaso (parent company: Ambiente, Prague), a meat wholesaler, which supplies meat to its restaurants in the Czech Republic.
Last year in 2022, a delegation from Ambiente came to Japan from the Czech Republic, toured Torikai Farm, and visited the Yamano Okageya Butcher shop. They visited us after reading an article about Torikai Farm in the Yomiuri Newspaper in English,
After visiting Torikai Farm, they were strongly impressed by its attitude toward breeding and fattening, and the caring and loving environment for the cattle, despite their small scale of business, which led to the enthusiastic proposal from them and led to this business.
The Tottori Wagyu from Torikai Farm exported this time is a 26-month-old castrated cow from the bloodline of "Hakuho 85-3," which won the top prize for meat quality in Japan at the 11th National Wagyu Competitive Exhibition(Wagyu Olympic). The carcass weight was 561.2 kg, graded A5 (highest rank) and BMS 10 (higher rank), in very good condition.
This export is expected to lead to continuous transactions and will contribute to the spread of Tottori Wagyu in the European market. It is also expected to help farmers and related parties in securing income in the midst of a consumption decline both in Japan and abroad due to the spread of COVID-19.
This is the first time that Tottori Wagyu beef has been exported to European markets, in partnership with Torikai Farm and EATOPIA (located in Kobe, Japan). YAMANO-OKENAGOYA will continue to expand the awareness of Tottori Wagyu and develop the overseas market.
About The Torikai Farm
The Torikai Farm is located in Sekikane-cho, Kurayoshi City, Tottori Prefecture. Their Breeding has received numerous awards, including the "Fat Quality" entry at the 12th Wagyu Olympic, and the "Fat Quality” special award at the Tottori Livestock Breeding Show in Tottori. They adopt an integrated production system that includes breeding and fattening, which is generally considered difficult.
They also produce a large number of cattle that meet the standards for Tottori Wagyu Olein 55 certification, for which only about 200 cattle are certified annually (about 70% of the cattle produced in the farm are certified as Olein 55), and their cattle are highly evaluated both within and outside of the prefecture.
